At ABA HVAC and Home solutions, we value energy efficiency over almost everything. There’s a lot we can do to make your home run better and use less power, saving you money and reducing your carbon footprint. New insulation, as well as regular maintenance for your HVAC systems are a few of the services we offer with that goal in mind. But before we do any of that we may want to perform an energy loss test to understand how efficient your home is.

Our energy loss test, otherwise known as an energy audit, uses a state of the art Forward Looking InfraRed (FLIR) thermal camera to detect any loss of heat or cool air in places such as:

  • Ducts
  • Furnace
  • Walls
  • Attics
  • Floors
  • Around windows and door

Do I Need an Energy Audit?

It’s estimated that the average American household spends over two thousand dollars a year on energy costs alone. If you have vulnerabilities that result in treated air escaping through uninsulated walls or gaps in the ducts, your household is paying more to be less comfortable. This is exactly what an energy audit works to address.
